Electronic Toy, 1975-1979  (Ref:X.O21.2001.0.0)
The battery powered Big Loader Construction Set. The set runs on a track and consists of an elevated ramp, dump truck, skip loader, scoop lifter, hopper, delivery chute, loading dock, transfer ramp, rocks and motorised chassis, all in plastic. As the motor runs, the 'rocks' are scooped up and transferred around the system.
This toy was made in the late 1970s by Tomy Kogyo Co., Ltd. in Singapore for Leicestershire toy manufacturers, Palitoy Ltd. Palitoy started out as the toy division of Cascelloid Ltd., Leicester and was part of the General Mills Group, USA from 1968 until it ceased production in 1986.
